Patrice Lawrence

Patrice Lawrence is a Senior Associate Solicitor at RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP, specialising in Estate Planning. She advises on the preparation of wills, succession and inheritance planning, and the creation and administration of trusts, providing clear and practical guidance to individuals and families in what can often be complex and emotional circumstances.

Patrice also assists with probate and estate administration, deeds of variation, and has significant experience in deputyship applications and issues surrounding mental capacity, including representation before the Court of Protection. Where disputes arise, she helps clients navigate contentious probate matters in a sensitive and pragmatic way. She works closely with James McMullan, Partner and Head of Private Client.

Patrice holds an LL.B. from the University of Sheffield (2006) and qualified as a solicitor in 2009. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards in private client work.
