Charlotte Barbaroussis

Charlotte Barbaroussis is a Solicitor in the Private Client team at RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP, specialising in Estate Planning. She advises clients on wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, trusts and estate administration, providing clear and empathetic guidance on complex and often sensitive matters.

Charlotte has expertise in preparing wills containing life interest and discretionary trust structures, declarations of trust, and living wills (advance medical directives). She also assists with deputyship applications and issues relating to mental capacity, and has a particular interest in inheritance tax planning and succession for blended families. She works closely with James McMullan, Partner and Head of Private Client.

Charlotte holds an LL.B. (Hons) and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Westminster. She qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2024. She is a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and holds the Lifetime Care in Practice Award and the Lifetime Law in Practice Award. She also serves as a part-time Lecturer of Law at the University of Westminster.
