Neely Middleton

Neely Middleton is an Associate within Bird & Bird’s Commercial Group in London, focusing on Technology Law. She provides clients from a range of sectors with legal support on various commercial matters.

Since qualifying in August 2023, she has regularly advised on a range of technology agreements including software licensing, development and support services and SaaS and cloud-based technologies, acting for both suppliers and customers.

During her training at Bird & Bird, she completed six months within the Franchising and Distribution team within the Commercial Group, working with a variety of Retail & Consumer clients. She has since developed a particular interest in the cross-over between technology and retail, and the digital transformation of the Retail & Consumer sector.

Neely also has a strong passion for diversity and inclusion within the legal sector, which has led her to co-chair Bird & Bird’s LGBTQ+ network, StandOUT.
