Michele Vas

Michele Vas is a Partner at Dentons in London, practicing in the Real Estate Law group, specializing in planning law. She advises on large‑scale energy and transport infrastructure, the delivery of new towns and garden communities, and securing CPO regeneration projects, as well as negotiating and drafting planning and highways agreements, urban extensions, compulsory purchase orders, and public inquiry work.

Michele has advised Keadby Generation Limited on one of the first Carbon Capture Storage enabled, gas‑fired power generating stations in the Humber, including the promotion of a development consent order granted in December 2022; advised a rail operator on numerous Transport and Works Act Orders for new stations and facilities; advised Chelmsford City Council on a planning framework agreement for comprehensive development across three landholdings; advised South Cambridgeshire District Council on a new urban extension for up to 6,500 new homes; and advised Places for People on the Gilston Park Estate project for up to 8,500 homes and supporting infrastructure.

She holds a degree from the University of Hertfordshire (1997) and completed her legal training at The College of Law (1998). She qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2000.

Michele is rated as a "Leading Partner" by The Legal 500 UK (2025, 2026) and ranked in Chambers for Planning (2026), where clients describe her advice as "exceptional" and note her ability to "fully explain complex legal issues in a way that's understandable to planners."
