Max Gross

Max Gross is an Associate in the London-based Privacy & Data Protection team. His primary practice area is Data Protection Law, and he advises UK and international clients on technology, data protection and privacy issues.

He works in all aspects of data protection law, including coordinating multijurisdictional compliance projects, creating data protection policies and data processing agreements, and reviewing the data-related aspects of commercial agreements. He also provides advice on regulations around direct marketing and cookies, and helps clients with individual rights requests and cybersecurity incidents.

His practice further includes advising on regulatory enforcement, international data transfer issues and privacy considerations in an M&A context.

He advises clients across diverse sectors including technology, life sciences, healthcare, entertainment, retail and telecommunications.

Before training as a solicitor at Bird & Bird, he held a data protection role at a public sector organisation, following previous experience in the scientific publishing industry.
