Luke Jamieson

Luke Jamieson is an Associate providing data-driven legal advice as part of the Pattern team, Bird & Bird's patent intelligence consultancy. His primary practice area is Patent Law.

He focuses on patent portfolio analytics, valuation, landscaping, as well as the legal and technical aspects of royalty rate determinations in patent disputes.

He is both a Chartered and European Patent Attorney with experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications, defending and attacking patents, infringement assessments, as well as carrying out due diligence work such as freedom-to-operate searches. This experience was predominantly in the fields of propulsion, energy, electrical circuitry, control methods, computer-implemented inventions, refrigeration, thermal management, automotive and consumer devices.
