Lauren O'Riordan

Lauren O'Riordan is a Senior Associate in Dentons' London office, practicing in the firm's Regulatory and Investigations practice, focusing on financial markets and regulatory work.

She advises a wide range of clients including investment banks, broker-dealers, retailers, fintechs, consumer credit institutions and energy sector participants, as well as public bodies and international financial institutions. Her experience includes advising on the UK's change of control regime, authorisation and licensing applications, variations of permissions, and supervised run-off and wind-down regimes. She regularly provides perimeter advice to clients seeking to expand into the UK, launch new products or offer new services, with experience across financial promotions, payment services, e-money, anti-money laundering and consumer credit regimes.

Lauren holds a First Class Honours LL.B in Law and French from Cardiff University and completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction at BPP Law School. She qualified as a solicitor in February 2021.
