Krystal Lee

Krystal Lee is a Senior Associate in the firm's London office, practicing in Arbitration and Mediation. She is dual-qualified in England and Wales (with Higher Rights of Audience) and in Paris, specializing in international commercial and investment arbitration.

Ms. Lee has acted as counsel for state and corporate clients in arbitrations under the rules of major arbitration institutions including ICC, LCIA, ICSID, and UNCITRAL, across sectors including banking, energy, construction, and general commercial matters. Her notable experience includes acting for a State in its defence in an UNCITRAL arbitration involving a claim in excess of US$6 billion, acting for a UAE company in multiple LCIA arbitrations, and acting for a trading company in its defence in an ICC arbitration against an LNG terminal operator with a claim in excess of €40 million. She also has experience acting as tribunal secretary in commercial arbitrations under the LCIA and FAI Rules.

Krystal holds a Graduate LLB and Legal Practice Course (Distinction) from BPP Law School (2016), a Graduate Diploma in Law (Commendation) from BPP (2015), and a Master of Economic Law (Specialization in Global Governance Studies) and a BA in Law, International Relations and Economics from Sciences Po Paris (2014 and 2011). She is admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales (2018), a Solicitor-Advocate (2020), and an Advocate of the Paris Bar (2022).

She serves as Assistant Editor (Europe) for the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and was a mentee in the ICCA Mentorship Group (2022-2024).
