Kirsty Shepherd

Kirsty Shepherd is an Associate in the Banking and Finance Practice at Dentons in Edinburgh, specialising in banking and finance law, acquisition finance, and real estate and investment finance. She advises both lenders and borrowers on a variety of commercial banking transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate and investment finance, and general corporate lending across the UK and internationally.

Kirsty has experience advising on a broad range of financing transactions, acting for financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and investors on domestic and cross-border matters. She is admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland and England and Wales.

Kirsty holds an LL.B in Law with English Law (First Class Honours) from the University of Aberdeen (2017) and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen (2018). She was admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland in 2020 and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2023.
