Katie Tyndall

Katie Tyndall is an Associate in Bird & Bird's Intellectual Property Group in London, focusing on Intellectual Property Law. She advises clients on a range of transactional IP issues, with a focus on non-contentious IP work.

Her sector experience includes media, sport, technology, retail, hospitality and life sciences. She advises on the protection and exploitation of all IP rights and on IP elements of commercial contracts, primarily those relating to new product and technology development. She assists brands with new ways to commercialise their IP, including via licensing, R&D and collaboration arrangements.

She regularly supports clients with the IP aspects of corporate transactions and IP-specific issues arising during the due diligence process of acquisitions and investments.

Katie joined Bird & Bird in 2018 and qualified in the Intellectual Property Group in 2020. She is a member of the firm's retail and media groups, and has contributed to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys' Journal.
