Isaac Qureshi

Isaac Qureshi is an Associate in Bird & Bird's London office, specialising in employee incentives and the tax and legal issues that surround them. His primary practice area is Employment Law, with a focus on employee incentive arrangements.

He supports clients with the design, implementation and operation of incentive arrangements, and regularly advises on the incentives aspects of corporate transactions — from early-stage funding rounds through to cross-border M&A.

Much of his work is with VC-backed businesses, particularly in the technology sector, where he helps founders and management teams navigate HMRC tax-advantaged share schemes (such as EMI), growth shares and other bespoke incentive structures.

He trained at an international law firm, qualifying into its tax team in 2020, before moving to a top-ranked media-focused law firm where he advised on incentives and corporate tax.
