Gemma Hunter-Barnes

Gemma Hunter-Barnes is Counsel in the firm's Real Estate practice, based in the Milton Keynes office. She specializes in property litigation—both contentious and non-contentious matters—relating to business lease renewals, possession claims, property insolvency matters, and service charge disputes. She acts for landlords, developers, retailers, charities, and the transport industry.

Ms. Hunter-Barnes has also advised on a number of business lease renewals for both commercial tenants and landlords, and on trespass, nuisance, and forfeiture claims. She trained at B P Collins, qualifying in 2013, and joined Dentons in 2017 as an associate before being promoted to Senior Associate (2019) and Counsel (2023). She is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

She holds an LLB (Hons) in Law and Criminology from the University of Sheffield (2009) and completed the Legal Practice Course with commendation at the College of Law (2011).
