Dr. Adrian Yeo

Dr. Adrian Yeo is a Counsel in the Banking and Finance Practice at Dentons in London, specialising in banking and finance regulation, financial services reform, and regulatory policy. He advises private and public sector entities and trade associations on a wide range of financial services regulatory matters, including MiFID, listings requirements, financial market infrastructures, and cryptoassets.

Adrian has significant experience in government, having served for six years as Deputy Director in Treasury Legal Advisers at HM Treasury, where he advised on all aspects of prudential and conduct regulation, including the Future Regulatory Framework Review, SM&CR, and led significant legislative programmes including the Financial Services Act 2021 and the Financial Services and Markets Bill. He has extensive experience leading large-scale legal projects, including legislative drafting exercises and working with regulatory authorities.

Adrian holds an LL.B in Law and Politics from Birmingham University (1993), a PhD from Bristol University (1999), an MA in Classics from the Open University (2009), and an MA in EU Competition Law from King's College London (2013). He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2003.
