Amy Chaplin

Amy Chaplin is an Associate in the International Trade, Regulatory and Investigations group, specialising in Corporate Compliance. She advises clients on all aspects of international trade law, including international financial and trade sanctions, export controls and national security, product regulation, customs, WTO law and tariffs in compliance, regulatory and contentious contexts.

Prior to joining Dentons, Amy worked in the Government Legal Department, where she trained and gained experience in HM Treasury, the Department of International Trade and the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. Her experience includes advising on the UK's climate change proposals, proposed tariff legislation packages and WTO disputes, bringing a valuable understanding of government policymaking and public law.

Amy holds an LL.B. in Law with American Law from the University of Nottingham and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.
