Akil Jackson

Akil Jackson is a Senior Associate in the firm's Construction Law and Projects practice, based in the London office. He specializes in contentious construction and commercial dispute resolution, particularly those involving international elements, and has acted for and advised corporate and private clients on professional negligence claims.

Mr. Jackson has been involved in a number of high-value disputes, including acting on behalf of a US-based mining company in an international arbitration against a Caribbean government regarding an alleged breach of a levy clause in a bauxite contract, acting for a Turkish investment company on a claim involving oil fields in the Kurdish region, and advising a property developer on a professional negligence claim against a leading law firm in relation to an easement for a proposed commercial development.

He qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and is a capable advocate who has appeared in the High Court and county courts.
