Tom Moore

Tom Moore is a Senior Associate in Bird & Bird's Dispute Resolution group in London, specialising in defamation, reputation protection and crisis management, as well as commercial disputes, particularly in the media, entertainment, sport and tech and comms sectors. His practice focuses on Media Law.

His experience includes working with a number of high-profile corporate and individual clients on defamation, privacy, data protection, breach of confidence, harassment and copyright issues, as well as acting in complex commercial litigation.

His defamation and reputation management practice involves advising on a variety of pre- and post-publication issues, assisting clients in managing crises and with reputation management strategies, and acting for online platforms and publishers in defamation actions and Norwich Pharmacal applications. His commercial disputes work has included breach of contract, negligence, fraud, complex copyright infringement and shareholder claims.

He has worked with clients operating in a large variety of sectors including financial services, technology and communications, and retail and consumer, but has particular experience in music, sport, film, tech, television and gambling.
