Marcus Ang

Marcus Ang is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance practice in Dentons' London office, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. He focuses on derivatives, advising buy-side and sell-side entities, financial institutions and corporates on OTC and exchange-traded derivatives, securities financing transactions, repackagings and structured notes across various asset classes.

Marcus advises on finance-linked swap transactions (including energy and project finance transactions and securitization swaps), and market participants on master agreements including ISDA Master Agreements, GMRAs, GMSLAs and MCAs. He has advised on the LIBOR transition, amendments to ISDA documentation to transition swaps to risk-free rates, and on equity and credit derivative transactions including portfolio swaps, total return swaps, CLNs and credit default swaps. He also advises on EMIR margin requirements, collateral documentation, netting provisions, clearing and prime brokerage arrangements.

Marcus holds an LL.B. from University College London (2014).
