Liam McCabe

Liam McCabe is a Senior Associate in the Real Estate practice in Dentons' Edinburgh office, with more than a decade of experience across a broad range of sectors in the Scottish market.

His practice encompasses commercial property matters including leasing (acting for both landlords and tenants), acquisition and disposal of assets, and asset management. He has recent experience handling projects in the renewable energy sector, alongside significant infrastructure projects involving ports and manufacturing facilities. He also advises on the implications of the telecommunications code and the acquisition and management of large cell site portfolios on behalf of operators. Notable matters include advising a developer on a £1 billion factory development for subsea HVDC cabling critical to UK renewable energy infrastructure, and advising a major international cruise operator on port and land-side asset arrangements at a major Scottish terminal.

Liam holds an M.A. (Hons) in History (2009), an LL.B (2012), and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (2013) from the University of Edinburgh.

He is recognised as a key lawyer in Commercial Property by The Legal 500 UK.
