Jeremy Easton

Jeremy Easton is Counsel in the Government team and Projects practice group, specialising in Public Procurement Law. He brings nearly 20 years of experience as a government lawyer, advising on all aspects of public and administrative law, legislation and regulation, with a particular focus on energy matters.

Jeremy has advised on regulatory aspects of nuclear power, oil and gas regulation, energy infrastructure planning, and the Procurement Act 2023. He has worked on funding structures for Bioenergy Carbon Capture and Storage, the project to nationalise the Electricity System Operator, and support for innovative solar and BESS projects in Morocco. He also advised the Cabinet Office on commercial policy matters arising from Brexit and the COVID‑19 pandemic, and has led on grant‑making and public spending issues.

Jeremy holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Brunel University (2001) and completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law (2002).
