Carolyn Saunders

Carolyn Saunders is a Partner in Dentons' London office and a member of the Employment and Pensions practice, specialising in pensions law.

She has specialised in pensions for more than 30 years, advising employer, trustee and provider clients on the full range of pensions issues, including complex transaction and governance matters through to contentious matters, including High Court litigation. She is also an experienced trainer and frequent conference speaker, lecturing regularly on trustee training courses for the pensions industry.

Carolyn holds an M.A. in Law from Cambridge University (1984) and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 1987.

She is ranked as a Band 3 lawyer for Pensions by Chambers UK, recognised in the Hall of Fame for non-contentious pensions by The Legal 500, and described by clients as "brilliant" and "a delight to work with". She is a member of the PLSA Policy Board and the UK Association of Pension Lawyers, and serves as a trustee of Paines Plough.
