Bruce Hale

Bruce Hale is a Counsel in the Projects practice group at Dentons' Glasgow office, focusing on non-contentious construction matters. He is admitted in England & Wales and Australia (NSW), and holds a Scots law degree.

He has extensive experience across all forms of project, development and construction matters, including real estate development (particularly the Beds sector including build-to-rent, student accommodation, hotels and later living), energy (including renewables), public and private infrastructure (rail and roads), industrial (including data centers and life sciences), logistics, automation and commercial projects. He advises all stakeholders including employers, JVs, contractors and funders. Notable matters include advising Masdar on two large solar power projects in Azerbaijan (445MW and 315MW), advising on Scotland's largest offshore wind farm (Seagreen), advising Sigma Capital Group on over 100 build-to-rent developments across the UK, and advising on the £500 million+ Haymarket mixed-use development in Edinburgh.

Bruce holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Glasgow (2008) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law (2012, NSW, Australia).

He is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
