Amanda Lewis

Amanda Lewis is a Consultant in Dentons' Technology, Media and Telecoms practice, specializing in outsourcing and strategic commercial transactions. She has nearly 30 years of experience advising complex businesses on major strategic projects across IT, telecommunications, cloud computing, disaster recovery, and a wide range of business process outsourcing arrangements.

She has advised on more than 220 strategic projects across sectors including fund management, banking, insurance, retail, manufacturing, media, telecommunications, energy, transportation, healthcare and central government. She also advises on the regulatory implications of outsourcing and has resolved numerous outsourcing and technology project disputes without litigation, often through innovative settlement solutions. She has extensive cross-border experience across the US, Canada, Europe, India, China, Japan, Singapore, the Middle East and Africa.

She is the author of the leading textbook "Business Services, Partnering and Outsourcing Contracts – A Practical Guide" (4th edition, 2013), which covers best practice in the UK and 12 other countries. She is recognized by Chambers UK and The Legal 500, and was named one of The Lawyer's HOT 100 Lawyers in the UK in 2010. She is a trustee of the Ben Uri Art Gallery and a mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation.
