Martha Pownall

Martha Pownall is an Associate at Dentons, practicing in the Technology, Media and Telecoms group, specializing in Technology Law. She advises clients on commercial contracts, intellectual property, data protection, IT, and outsourcing across a broad range of sectors including consumer goods, energy, industrials, and life sciences.

Martha has in-house experience from secondments with a leading global drinks company and a national utilities operator. She has also advised on technology and commercial agreements, including software licensing, data processing, and digital transformation projects.

She holds an LL.B (Hons) from Durham University (2019) and completed her Legal Practice Course with an MSc in Business and Management at the University of Law (2020). She qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2023.
