Katy MacAskill

Katy MacAskill is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory and Investigations team at Dentons' Glasgow office, specialising in White Collar Crime and contentious financial crime matters. She regularly advises clients facing investigations into alleged regulatory breaches and corporate crime issues, including fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption.

Katy is an experienced commercial litigator with significant experience in both Court of Session and Sheriff Court actions. She has acted for clients in complex civil and criminal matters, including regulatory health and safety prosecutions, Fatal Accident Inquiries and public inquiries. She also assists clients with internal investigations and regulatory risk and compliance reviews. Alongside the Corporate Crime team, Katy has developed a comprehensive Failure to Prevent Fraud Toolkit to help organisations implement reasonable procedures efficiently.

Katy holds an LL.B (Hons) and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow.
