Dan Halliday

Dan Halliday is a Senior Trade Mark Attorney in the Helix department, based in the Milton Keynes office, practicing in Intellectual Property Law. He focuses on managing the trade mark portfolio of one of the UK's best-loved and most iconic media brands, advising on all matters relating to trade mark portfolio management, including pre-filing clearance searches, managing trademark watches, and filing and prosecuting trade mark applications both in the UK and overseas.

Mr. Halliday is also experienced in handling inter-party disputes before trade mark registries and supervising overseas disputes handled by foreign associates, as well as negotiating and drafting settlement agreements. He is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).

He holds an LLB (Hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University (2012), the Legal Practice Course from Manchester Metropolitan University (2013), a Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice from Queen Mary University of London (2017), and a Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice from Nottingham Trent University (2018).
