Christopher Colclough

Christopher Colclough is a Partner and heads the Corporate and Banking team in the Milton Keynes office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. He leads a team offering expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, financing, owner-managed businesses, venture technology, private equity, automotive retail, insurance, manufacturing, acquisition finance and real estate finance, with considerable experience in both domestic and cross-border transactions.

Chris's own practice includes international mergers and acquisitions, fundraising for venture technology and emerging growth companies, advising on complex corporate governance matters including shareholder rights, and finance work for both lender and borrower with a particular focus on UK real estate finance. He previously worked in Dentons' Budapest office and was seconded to The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. He also manages a Company Secretarial unit servicing more than 400 companies.

He is rated as a Next Generation Partner by The Legal 500 and described by Chambers & Partners as "efficient," "commercial and easy to deal with," with clients appreciating his "timeliness," "reliability" and "commercial mind."
